Andytown Coffee Roasters Panama Boquete

This week's featured coffee is Andytown Coffee Roasters Panama Boquete. Our friends at Mutari Chocolate gave us a bag of this Panama Boquete to try out, and we could hardly wait to give it a spin in Cold Bruer!

COFFEE SPECS

  • Country: Panama
  • Region: Boquete
  • [Not much info available on this coffee other than that it was "grown on the eastern slope of the largest volcano in Panama".]

HOW WE BREWED IT

  • 60g medium grind
  • 700ml ice/water mix
  • 1 drip/second initial drip rate
  • 5-6 hour brew

Thick and syrupy with very low acidity, this cold brew has a marzipan like sweet nuttiness followed by a delicious buttery caramel finish that lingers. By itself, this one is more like a sipping cold brew, but the richness would be balanced nicely with cream or milk. $10.50 for an 8 oz bag here.
